Current EBAY listing

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Current EBAY listing

Post by flatbedtruck »

I just saw a new listing on EBAY for a very rare Remington doctor's knife. The EBAY item number is 362650836037. My question is that the main blade is a clip instead of a spear. I am not aware of any of the Remington doctor's knives having a clip blade. Does anyone have any info about this. I don't know how to include the thread with this message so that is why I gave you the item#. I don't think it is a genuine Remington. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I agree ::td:: ::td:: . And that seller is on my ::td:: ::td:: list. Handles a lot of suspect knives.

I agree about the ebay seller here. I would not buy any knife from this person as the chance it has been 're-worked' is high.
