Prayer Partners Wanted

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayer Partners Wanted

Post by philco »

The thought has occured to me that there may be situations some of our members are facing where they would like to request prayer but are reluctant to do so publicly for personal reasons. That is understandable and would apply to most of us at one time or another.

I would like to compile a list of members who would be willing to serve as prayer partners in such situations. If you are willing serve in that capacity, please post on this thread and let us know. If we get some volunteers, I will make this thread a sticky so that when you are needed, other members will know who to contact via PM to request prayer.

I will be the first to put my name on that list. I hope there will be several others.

God Bless,

Phil

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT

Thanks to all who have responded by indicating their willingness to reach out to others.

If you have a need for a prayer partner and prefer to keep it a private matter, please contact any of the members who have stated thier willingness to serve as a prayer partner. Remember you don't have to face it alone.

That's a good thing Phil. Before I came to this forum this evening I have had a bad day. Our clothes washer fell completely off it's last leg, it began to rain and I had a leak to come from the roof to the bottom of our two story house, and my wife became sick today. I thought I had problems until I read some of the problems on here good people are having. It turned my mountains into mole hills. If someone needs a prayer and asks for it on any post on here, I don't need to know their reason because God already does. A prayer will go out for them first thing from here.

Please pray for my 14 year old son Jack. He is being guided by unfavorable forces both hidden and seen. May God, our Heavenly Father send his Holy Spirit and His Angels down to intervene (Psalms 91:11). I pray for this through our Lord, Christ Jesus.

George,

I'm praying for you and Jack, asking the Lord to protect him from the forces that would take him where he does not need to go.

Bro. Phil:

Your prayers are most welcome. Sometimes the Good word is overshadowed by the bad especially in a teenage boys mind. We are trying to keep him on the right path.

Dale and Gunsmoke47 (sorry I don't know your given name :O) - Your prayers are so very welcomed! Teenagers have it so much harder these days than when I was a kid. The Devil and his works are everywhere and temptation abounds.

Thanks again...and I pray for all of you friends as well :O)
