Stagman Update

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Stagman Update

Post by Quick Steel »

Pam has been moved to a hospice to await the end. Evidently she is in terrible pain and the doctors will give nothing. Will is understandably distraught and embittered, considering prayer useless. But I think we can all understand how this unexpected and unforeseen loss can drive a man to his limits and beyond. I pray that Pam's suffering may soon be over and that Will may find the strength to endure the grief he is experiencing.

He will be sleeping in the room with Pam until the end.

Right you are Dale. I forgot to mention that his store, Clear Creek Knives, will be closed for some time. Thanks for taking care of that.

I got an email from Will asking me to check to be sure that his store was in vacation mode and if it wasn't I would contact Bryan to make sure that it was in vacation mode. He said he was going to stay with them while she's in hospice as long as she is alive.

I found his store was already in vacation mode and I returned his email telling him his store was fine and asking if you would like me to update you fellows here in the Upper Room forum.

This was his reply copied and pasted in full:

I am leaving right now Dale, as it is 97 miles away
I wil be gone till she is
thanks for checking store and go ahead with a new update post that
I am loosing my Pammie after 50 yrs together
I love her so much Dale, cannot stop crying, she is my world, I do not know what I am gonna do
I cannot even think right, small tasks I get lost on, all I think about is her,
been together since 15 yrs old, its so hard bud
see ya all when I return
Will

My heart really goes out to the guy, this has got to be really rough on a guy!
But after having seeing someone come back to life after the doctors declared him brain-dead, I am a firm believer that this life is not over until God says it's over!

I will keep praying.

I am with you Glenn, I could not read his email with dry eyes either.
My wife has been praying for them too. She asked me what his email said; I just handed her my phone as I knew I couldn't read his email aloud to her. ::tear::

It's not been long since we received urgent news from Pam, telling us that Stagman had had a heart attack, requesting prayer.

He pulled through that and now he's losing Pam.

It's no wonder he's angry and questioning God.

This is tough to read, but if everyone around him can prevent him doing something stupid, God will see him through this too.

Man, Oh man. ::pray:: Guys, ::pray::

Continued prayers for both.
