Prayer for an injured worker

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayer for an injured worker

Post by treefarmer »

We saw on local TV where a man working on the storm debris cleanup was seriously injured Thursday down in Bay County. No name was given and little did we know until Friday morning it was one of the members of our church. His name is Bruce Kuttner, a Bay County Road & Bridge employee, he was struck in the back by a log coming loose from a grapple loader. 5 vertebras messed up, broken ribs, punctured lung, thankfully no spinal cord damage. Bay Medical/Sacred Heart is doing its' best to clear his lung issue so the back surgery can begin.
Bruce is a Christian. Please pray for Bruce's healing and his family as they go through this ordeal.
Thank you!

Please continue to pray for Bruce. No opportunity for surgery because of continuing lung issues. He is to be life flighted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Because of the storm damage, Bay Medical/Sacred Heart just isn't up to speed for all that's needed in this serious case. ::pray::

Up date on Bruce Kuttner: He was flown to Shands in Gainesville and his lungs have cleared, he is in some sort of body brace that allows him to sit up. His back surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, the doctors expect a full recovery! Continue to pray for Bruce, his family and the medical staff that that will be doing his back repair.

Tueday Jan. 22 around 6:30 pm we got news about Bruce Kuttner. Bruce is out of surgery, to be in ICU overnight and then beginning therapy and possibly be back in home in the Panhandle in 3 or 4 days to continue recovery and therapy. God has answered prayers! Praise the Lord!

Well folks, Bruce hasn't made it back to the Panhandle yet but he is walking the halls at Shands using a walker! His wife reported he would soon be transferred to a rehab in Dothan, a lot closer to home than Gainesville.
Bruce's wife is very thankful for all the prayers and is praising God for Bruce's great progress.
