Re: Prayers for my grandson
UPDATE: My daughter told me today that William has started a new diet without the meds he was taking. There have been no more seizures and there was no damage from the two he had. So hopefully they were caused by the meds and that will be the end of that. His cramping and diarrhea have subsided some, so we'll see how things are in a few days.
We are so grateful for our family, our church and all of you at AAPK that have taken a moment of your time to offer prayer to our Heavenly Father for William. Our strength comes from our faith in Jesus Christ and we are comforted by his Word and by the prayers of you all.
We have other great news from Dallas Baptist University, they have approved his application for the 2020 school year and scholarships totaling $13,000 per year for his undergrad degree. His parents are both DBU alumni and the IMB will add another $5,000 per year for missionary children.
Like the song says "Our God is an awesome God." God Bless all of you my friends.

What great way to begin the day by reading how God is blessing your grandson! The old traditional doxology comes to mind, "Praise God from whom all blessings flow"!

That's good news that he is responding well!
Re: Prayers for my grandson
UPDATE: Everyone I thought I would give one last update for the time being on my grandson William. He is much, much better on the new diet, although he would prefer to pig out at McDonald's. Because he had two seizures he still has about another 3 to 4 weeks before the doctor will allow him to spend any length of time outdoors in the heat or do anything that is strenuous. I'm not sure I understand all of that, but I'm sure there is a correlation between the brain, the physical condition and the seizures.
You have all been so very gracious and kind with you words of comfort and prayers and we are all truly blessed by each other and by our common faith in our Creator and the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ. Thanks for being there in a time of need.
P.S. William knew all of you were praying for him and he thought it was a miracle that so many people from around the world would know about him and was praying for him. He said he was grateful.

Re: Prayers for my grandson
David, what your wrote in your P.S. is something that really makes this part of AAPK a special place. We at our home have experienced the same blessings as your grandson, folks from all over praying us through several tough times, especially my wife's open heart surgery several years ago.
Thanks to all who keep watch in the Upper Room!

Re: Prayers for my grandson
My grandson William continues to do well on his new diet and medications and has not had any issues for a couple of weeks now. Thanks to everyone who has lifted him up in prayer. God hears our prayers.
