Prayers for my Dad

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

I’ll say the Rosary for him tomorrow. Glad he’s on the mend.

Please pray for healing for my father once again, if the Lord wills it.
He fell last night, hitting his head and right arm on some rocks. He was also holding a glass of water - it shattered and he has several cuts on his left hand.
He refused to go to the doctor, and I do not know of any broken bones or severe damage, but I am concerned for his health, and he is in pain. Sometimes he is too Stubborn for his own good.
(I think that I inherited that from him, too!)

Thank you.

I tell ya, it’s hard to raise good obedient parents! My dad doesn’t like to listen either. lol.

We’ll keep him in our prayers.

Frustrating when they won't allow you to help them by taking them to the doctor. I'll pray for your dad!

Prayers sent, they can sure be stubborn my Mom fell a few years before she died and broke her shoulder and wouldn't tell anybody but dad that she had done it.
Finally Dad called me and said I needed to look at her shoulder. They were from a generation that didn't believe in going to the doctor for every little thing. ::shrug:: ::woot::

Praying for your dad, Reverend. ::pray:: Old soldiers like him are built tough, I'm sure his internal healing powers will kick-in and he'll be up and running in no time. I lost my dad when I was only 29, and I've missed him ever since, so I pray Billy will be with you and yours for many years to come. ::pray:: Mark. 8)
