Prayers for Sister

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayers for Sister

Post by Quick Steel »

I will greatly appreciate prayers for my sister. She has been confirmed as having COVID-19 with symptoms: fever. headache, coughing, very low energy. For now, we are in quarantine and required to call the health service daily with temperature and symptom development. I have no symptoms. I am praying that her symptoms develop no further and that she will quickly regain her strength. Am very grateful for your prayers.

Father, I pray in agreement with Quick Steel for his sister, "that her symptoms develop no further and that she will quickly regain her strength." Bless here with Your healing power, all for Your glory. In Jesus's name. Amen

Holy Father in heaven...
This disease that we are experiencing here is the United States is make us all very weary. We are beginning to see our loved ones become infected with this terrible disease as the numbers grow each day.
Father, we pray for Garry and his sister Bev. Holy Father, please give Bev a complete healing from this virus. And we pray that Garry would be able to avoid getting this disease. Please set a hedge of protection around Garry.
Father, we pray that you would surround Bev with your comforting warmness. Please give let her take comfort in knowing you are her Heavenly Father and that you have her in Your Loving Hands. You are the great physician and know how we are made since you designed each one of us. Thank you for your Word Heavenly Father.... Through your word you tell us you are always with us and will never forsake us.
May your will be done.
In the Holy name of Jesus we pray.

Praying the Lord will bless y'all to get over this mess quickly, hopefully you'll not end up with it so you can take care of her.
How will this effect her women's ministry?

Phil, Her foundation is shut down, tho it looks like the timing is pretty good. All but two just recently "graduated" successfully. The two remaining look like they will have good supervision at home during the shutdown. The next group in will be delayed at least two weeks.

I missed this earlier.

Father we ask that you would keep Gary safe from this virus and we ask that you would give his sister Bev a quick recovery, and we ask that her symptoms would not get any worse. We thank you Lord that you are the great physician.
You knew us in our mother's womb and you loved us then.

I also asked Lord that you would protect the rest of the AAPK members and their families, we pray that you would protect them from this virus and for those who have it we ask Lord that you would bringing them a speedy and complete recovery

We're ask in the all powerful name of Jesus,
Amen

Garry did you spend time with your sister in the 2 weeks before she became ill ?
Have you been tested with a nasal swab to see if you also have this virus ?
If she is at home, a pulse oximeter can be a help to reassure the patient. If despite feeling short of breath, the pulse oximeter shows an oxygen saturation of 90% or above, then you know your tissues are getting enough oxygen. If it is below 90% and staying there then a medical examination should follow to determine if hospitalization is needed. Always best to stay out of a hospital if you do not absolutely need to be there.
I am sure it is a frightening time for both you & your sister. Some people do not get too sick and make a fairly quick recovery. I hope your sister will be one of these individuals.

KJ, Yes, she spent a couple of days at home over the holidays. I have used an oximeter for a long while. My sister's oxygen levels are fine, as are mine. Her pulse is high. I'll see how things are going in the morning.

Thanks for replying to my questions. I hope you remain well and that your sister's illness is on the 'mild side' as some are.
This is a 'sneaky' virus. Even after following all precautions there are those who have become Covid positive. None of us is 100% safe.
