Amazing how they can heal the heart these days....I had OHS 2.5 yrs ago....just amazing. They repeair hearts like it's giving tisdsue
to a runny nose!!

Well guys, after being prepped for a 7:00 surgery, it was a no-go due to further heart issues and my dad's ongoing kidney issues. So it has at least been postponed for now.

Sorry to hear of the cancelation. Hopefully they can find a way to move forward with the surgery.

Prayers sent and will continue to send John until your Dad is safely back at home with you and all his loved ones. If he's anything like you, and I'm sure he is since he spawned you, God won't let anything bad happen to him because his services are still greatly needed. Keep the faith buddy. Mark. 8)

My pastor was over today and I showed him this thread and how we support one another. He was
very impressed and will remember your father and all of us in this ministry of support. Keep us update

Praying.
My Dad had open heart surgery just over a year ago. The first few days afterward were the hardest of my life to see him so swollen, and in so much pain. Yet now he is doing so much better.
I pray that your father can get what is best and what is needed, and that he has a good quality of life afterward.
Praying for you and your family as well.

Thanks for all of your prayers and posts. My dad just wants to go home, sit in his favorite chair and watch TV with his dogs. We have been working to get that set up for him. ::pray::

Had not seen this until just now, John. Hope things are going as well as possible for you. It is a very stressful thing to deal with a family member's illness.

My dad passed this morning around 2:45 AM, in his living room with his dogs close by just as he wished. Last night our local pastor was able to stop by and do Communion for him and my family, we were very grateful for this and are happy that he is in a much better place free from misery and pain. RIP to my dear ol' dad. ::pray::

My sincerest condolences John at this most trying time. I thought Dad just needed the surgery and all would be good again, but at least he didn't need to endure all the pain associated with a major surgery, and I'm sure he's now in a much better place. My prayers are with you and your loved ones during this most difficult time. ::pray:: Mark. 8)
