Prayers for my wife

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayers for my wife

Post by dlr110 »

Cheryl has been having problems with heart arrhythmia and will be in the hospital today. She is having "cardiac catheter ablation." In this procedure, the doctor threads one or more catheters through your blood vessels to your heart. Electrodes at the catheter tips can use heat, extreme cold or radiofrequency energy to damage (ablate) a small spot of heart tissue and create an electrical block along the pathway that's causing your arrhythmia. She has been on medication and a remote heart monitor for some time now and the doctors said this was the next step in correcting her problem. I will be at the hospital with her all day and tonight. Please pray for her and the hospital staff. God bless you all.

Heavenly Father,
Please give David and Cheryl the peace that can only be found in you. Let them both know that you have them in your hand. You see their every move and every illness. Please give Cheryl the healing she needs in her life. Please guide the hands of the doctors and hospital staff so they will give gentile and skilled care to Cheryl.
Father, you are the great physician. May your will be done.

We pray in the Holy name of our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

David,
We just had a friend at church go through the heart ablation procedure. I had never heard of the procedure until a month ago. Isn't it amazing all the things God has allowed man to "discover" how to fix these old bodies!
Praying all will be well with the procedure and Cheryl's heart rhythm will be as it needs to be. ::pray::

David,

Hope the ablation puts her heart in the correct rhythm. Sometimes medication is a hit and miss so
this is commonly the next step. Will be thinking of her today.

Praying now for Cheryl, her doctors, and for you my friend. My sister had that procedure several years ago without complications (after trying and failing to correct the problem with meds). More recently a member of our church, in her 90s, just had it done a couple of weeks ago. Like ferg, she also had a pacemaker put in a few weeks before the ablation. She is doing well.

Thank you "Prayer Warriors" for all the prayers and well wishes from the best group on the planet.
We just got home and Cheryl is doing fine, maybe too fine. The doctor told her no lifting among other activities for at least a week, but the way she is feeling right now it may be hard to hold her back in a couple of days and what are we in the middle of right now, moving! Anyway God is always faithful and so are you folks in time of need. God bless you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers.
