A little Yellow Flower

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

A little Yellow Flower

Post by FRJ »

As I understand it, my dads favorite color was yellow. He died in a working accident in 1953.
Years ago my dear Susan knew of this and planted a Yellow flowering plant in remembrance of him.
My dear girl passed into the Arms of the Lord on October 9, last and this lovely plant is giving up one beautiful bloom.
This is wonderful in many ways.
God Bless.

It is amazing how God reminds our hearts of people, events and locations with some of the beautiful things he created, causing them to show up or in this case to bloom at just the right time! A yellow rose with special meaning to you.
God bless you as you proceed down this road. ::pray::

God bless brother!
Such a beautiful way, to remember them both by.

The beauty of God's creation is all around us. It is such a comfort to see a loved one in God's manifested beauty of nature!
That is a beautiful rose! AND, since it was planted by Susan, God brought forth that beautiful bloom to remind you of Susan's beauty!

What a wonderful blessing from God!

May God continue to bless you and give you good memories!

Thank you all for your kind sentiments, thoughts and prayers, they are very much appreciated.

I didn't know this little yellow flower was a Rose.

When Susan passed I wrote a short poem that uses the Rose.
I will put it in the thread, "Poems, Quotes, Sayings & Other Creative Stuff" if you care to read it.
