Prayer For My Mom

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Dale,
Praying the Lord will be merciful and that you and all the family will have abundant grace during this time.
So many different feelings are experienced by family members at this time, but we can all be blessed to know that your mother is ready to meet her Lord and Savior when that moment comes. ::pray::

Dale,
I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and the family in this time of uncertainty. Should the time of her calling be near I will celebrate in the knowledge and faith that your mother will be with Jesus and all her loved ones that have gone before. May our Heavenly Father look down upon you and all the others gathered and provide you with a spirit of His peace and shower you all with His rich blessings. In the Holy name of Jesus Christ Our Lord, Amen.

This evening at about 5:45 PM we bid my mom, Godspeed as she left her broken and painful 92-year-old body and begin her forever life, with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know there's a party in heaven now as she rejoices with my little brother, Paul. He only had four years on this earth in a body that was very crippled by cerebral palsy. While his body was badly misshapen we knew that his mind was very sharp. Tonight, and forever in heaven Mom and Paul are reunited. We know they are rejoicing together in heaven along with my grandparents. I also know there are there are innumerable people she knows there. People whose lives she and dad affected one way or another. It's a good thing there is no clock in heaven because she would spend the first couple thousand years saying “Hi” to friends and to people's lives she had made better.

I am very grateful for all of the prayer warriors here who have held mom and my family up in prayer before the throne of God. You cannot understand how much that has meant to me and to our family unless you have been through a similar situation and been held up in prayer by mighty prayer warriors.

Dad is very emotional, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Seeing mom in so much pain was worse for him having her gone. Death is a mercy sometimes and it is a grace, a gift from God. Especially when it ends the loved one's life and ushers her into the presence of our Lord and Savior!

Thank you all for your prayers! God bless you all!

The Lord is our Shepherd..... Even though we walk through the valley of death, He is with us.

I will continue to pray for you Dale. May the Lord be your strength. I pray that others in your family find your strength to be comforting to them in this time of parting.

We praise the Lord for your Mom's journey to her heavenly home.

I pray for a peace that passes ALL understanding for you and your family.

in Jesus name we trust and pray!

I'm so sorry for your loss Dale and I will pray for your family's comfort and understanding. However, as I said before I will celebrate in the knowledge that your mother is with Jesus, family and those that meant so much to her in this life. May she be forever happy in her heavenly home worshiping and singing praises to our Lord and Savior.

Thanks guys!
Our family was lifted on the wings of 10,000 prayers. I litterly felt your prayers as a strong wall backing me up and protecting me from behind. There was some spiritual warfare involved with some distand folks.
Thank you all for having my 6 in your prayers!!

Thanks Rev! ::tu::
Your words about scars reminded me of a song I dedicated to my mother on Facebook

God bless you brother!
I know the pain, lost my baba 2 years ago, still hurts. But it's so comforting, knowing they are with are Lord & Savior now, and for all of eternity. We'll be all back together, in a blink of an eye; because this part of life moves so fast.
Love you and many blessing.
