Roland's surgery

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

I spoke with Roland today for a few minutes. It made my day to hear from him! Roland is back home and expects to make a post shortly to thank everyone for praying for him and raising him up. Roland is very grateful for the caring and concern that has been expressed on his behalf.

Roland is weak as you might imagine and seems to be doing as well as can be expected. Roland is being cared for by his children. That's all I have to communicate. Please be on the lookout for a post shortly from Roland himself.

Thanks all for the acknowledgements on Roland's recovery update. Here is another brief update.

Roland is still recovering as expected. A long car ride home from the hospital and the transition from hospital to home has sapped Roland's energy a bit and he has not felt up to sitting in front of his computer just yet. Roland is working on regulating his diet (very small portions many times per day) and blood sugar while is body adjusts to the changes that were made to his digestive system.

We will hear from Roland directly soon.
