Asking Prayer for My Daughter

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

All the most positive thoughts for Tymbre, I hope that she can get to find a person in the Know who she can talk to.

I'm saddened to read this, I hope she comes through this!

Tymbre is back in the hospital as of yesterday. today they drained 3.9 L of liquid off of her stomach because her liver cannot process it fast enough. I visited with her in her room last night and she was in a lot of pain. She had a lot of company today including the former commander of her unit before they went overseas. He was the one that trained them for their mission and then he was pulled from the mission just before they left and replaced by a far less competent Junior officer. I could tell she felt quite validated by his visit.

I'm going up to visit her tomorrow afternoon and take her a bubble tea, not really sure what that is, but I know a place that sells it. She was really excited!

I'm having trouble keeping up with everything these days, trying to get into the hospital to see Tymie, keeping everything going here at home, although Alyson is doing much better, she's still not 100%. I injured my shoulder couple months ago and found out that I've torn the two front muscles in  my left rotator cuff completely in two pieces, as well as ripping my bicep tendon into two separate pieces. The VA has finally decided I need to see a orthopedic surgeon and since it's over 2 months to see a VA surgeon I am qualified for the Mission Act where the VA will send me to a local doctor for treatment.
It will still probably take a few weeks till I get an appointment but at least it's in the works. I'm very sore and grumpy according to my wife, (I agree), and I seem to run out of energy long before the day runs out of daylight.

I appreciate your prayers for Tymbre,  please keep them coming.
If you run out of people to pray for, I could use a couple prayers too.

Thank you and God bless you all!

Dale you and the family are most certainly in our prayers and will continued to be so. I've put your whole family on our church prayer list. You have an Army of God's Prayer Warriors lifting all of you up in prayer.

Heavenly Father at this time I lift up in prayer Dale, Alyson, Tymbre and all the other family members and I humble ask that You Lord grant them Your healing power. Lord let it be Your will that they all will experience healing and improved health. Most of all Lord I pray that the Holy Spirit will give them peace and comfort knowing that You are with them throughout this time. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Man that rotator cuff surgery is bad, I had it done last November and first week of January the physical therapist blew it back out, now it’s tore again and not looking forward to doing it again.

I thought I should give y'all an update on Tymbre.
Some of the initial information we received about her condition  was incorrect. According to the specialist treating her, alcoholism was not the cause of her liver problems. The doctor told my ex-wife that the damage to Tymbre's liver was the same that he sees in people who have been poisoned. It's his belief that exposure to the burn pit outside her base in Qatar is what caused all of her liver and kidney damage, as well as her respiratory problems and asthma.

Now, her liver can't process enough liquid in a day, so she has fluid build-up, even though she is restricted in her fluid intake.
There are temporary methods of dealing with this, but they seem to carry with them a high risk of infection. Her mother said the doctors said a realistic life expectancy for Tymbre with her condition as it is now is about 2 years.

Please continue to pray for Tymie, she did accept the Lord and was baptized when she was about 12.

Good bless you all,
Dale

Oh my goodness Dale! With all our craziness going on this summer I had missed the middle part of her story. I am so sorry for all that she, and y’all are having to go through right now. You are all in my prayers, of course. Rest in the knowledge that you are all in the hands of a sovereign God who’s ways are past our finding out, who’s grace and faithfulness is stronger that our weakness and faithlessness, and who’s providence is sufficient for and present in every time of need. To borrow and paraphrase the words of Paul, “Grace and peace to you all”

‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬, “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive shall fail, And the fields shall yield no meat; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, And he will make my feet like hinds' feet, And he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
“There are things in the old Book which I may not be able to explain, but I fully accept it as the infallible word of God, and receive its teachings as inspired by the Holy Spirit.”

Dale,
I've read what all these other wonderful brothers in Christ have written and I don't know what to say or add to their words.
You know that I pray for you and Alyson and your father all the time. My heart breaks to read this news about Tymbre and I
pray that she will trust in Jesus for whatever is to come. I pray that our Lord will put His loving arms around all of you and
give you the calm reassurance that everything will be okay, that He is still in control. God's Blessings my brother.
