Asking Prayer for My Daughter

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Asking Prayer for My Daughter

Post by orvet »

Hi guys,
I am asking those of you pray and believe that God answers those prayers; please pray for my daughter. Her name is Tymbre.
She is in the National Guard and spent about 10 months in Qatar. She has been home about 18 months after spending 10 months in Qatar, nine months of which were during Coved-19 lockdown.
She has been diagnosed with PTSD and with respiratory problems related to burn pit syndrome.
Since she has been home for members of her National Guard unit who deployed with her have died; two by accident and two by suicide. These have had a profound negative effect on her.
She has been self-medicating with alcohol and Friday I took her to hospital where they put her in the intensive care unit. In addition to the fact of the alcohol on her liver and kidneys she had apparently fallen and bruised her entire left side, right over the area of the kidneys. Kidney function is very low at this point, (Sunday, her third day in ICU), it is just above the threshold for dialysis.

Please pray for healing, body, soul and spirit.
Thank you,
Dale

Heavenly Father I come before You lifting up Tymbre in prayer. Lord you know her needs and I pray for her healing. I pray for the medical staff that is caring for her, may the decisions they make bring comfort and healing of her body. Lord I lift up Dale and the rest of the family, may they all seek Your will at this time, comfort them, reassure them of Your love. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Dale I'll be praying daily for her recovery, both short term and long term. I'll also be praying for the government to get off their collective butts and start providing more and better mental care for our veterans. It's obvious that they're falling far too short in that department.

I have been visiting Tymbre in the evenings after 8 PM because all visitors must leave the ICU between 7 PM and 8 PM all the nurses change shifts. Between about 5:30 PM to 7 PM is dinner and nurses doing rounds so it's not the best time to talk.
Last night the nurse said the output levels of her kidneys have improved from 20 to 25 per hour. It is up but from 10 when she first got there but they want it up to 30 at the minimum. (I'm not sure what the number indicates, some unit of measurement they use).
The nurse told me last night, the doctors were talking about moving her from ICU to CCU (I think that's what they called it), it's a step down in the level of care and I took that as a positive sign. But this afternoon when I talked with her she was still in the ICU.
There was also some talk of putting her on dialysis to help her kidneys recover a little. It would not necessarily be permanent but the nurse seem to indicate that unless the kidneys recover dialysis may be necessary and permanent.

Tymbre said she was real tired and her mother had been there this afternoon. She wanted to sleep this evening and told me to stay home because it was over 100° outside. I'll go back to visit her tomorrow.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated! Thank you!
God bless you all!
