A Christmas miracle?
Annually since 1978 our little country church has done a live Nativity for the community. People come from miles around to see it, which I think despite all indications to the contrary is an indication of people’s interest in Christ. I’ve posted pictures of past years event here before but this year was special.
This year we started last Friday night. It was a beautiful night and we had a steady stream of viewers. Saturday night however was a different experience altogether. It rained here all day but the rain stopped a little before 5 PM as we were getting the animals ready, the “baby Jesus” doll in His crèche, and costumed church member “actors” in place.
Then as we were ready to begin, a Great Pyrenees dog came along. You can see in the pictures below the astonishing thing that happened next.

Amen thanks for sharing
Re: A Christmas miracle?
Great story about your church.
Excellent capture of the dog at the Nativity. Capturing the moment is
sometimes luck and good fortune.
Even greater the idea what Christmas is all about.

And good to see a Christmas scene that was about Christmas and not about the commercialization of it. Great post. A Merry Christmas to all.

There is always hope eternal for those with Christ in their heart.
