Sarah

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Sarah

Post by RobesonsRme.com »

Early yesterday morning, just before 0400, Sarah fell, striking her head against her bedside table, forcing her head up and back as her body fell to the floor.

Long story, short; she has broken her neck at the second cervicle vertebral level, the so-called, “Hangman’s Fracture”, the same injury that has occasionally occurred when a football player leads with his helmet.

It is not displaced and there has been no spinal cord injury, as yet.

She’s in a rigid collar and will be for several weeks.

In a good bit of discomfort.

I covet the prayers of this group on her behalf.

I’ll definitely add her to my prayers. If there was no dislocation or cord damage, she should have a complete recovery in spite of the discomfort. Godspeed recovery

Charlie, I'm so sorry to hear about this injury to Sarah. I will add you and Sarah to my prayer list.

Father,
I ask that you would be with Charlie and Sarah and that you would keep Sarah from any further injury to her neck. I ask for a speedy and complete recovery for her without lasting side effects. I ask that you would give them both peace and reassurance of Your hand in their lives. Give Charlie wisdom, grace and understanding as he ministers to Sarah.
I ask this in the name of Jesus, the great physician.
Amen

Two weeks ago today, Sarah and I were skydiving from 14K feet.

Tandem jump with experienced men, but still, she did it and was ready to do it again, save for the cost.
