DAVY CROCKETT

Post by RobesonsRme.com »

Any of you ever see a razor marked simply, “DAVY CROCKETT”?

I bought a Robeson travel shaving set and the Crockett razor was inside.

I will replace it with an appropriate Robeson.

I don’t need the Crockett.

I’ll post photos if anyone is interested.

It’s in fairly used condition and I’m still trying to decide if it’s celluloid or horn.

I will photograph it all when I’ve pulled a Robeson razor that is appropriate for the set and its time period.

Neat blade, still restorable. German with jimps, so a quality blade after 1891. Appears to be celluloid, but kinda difficult to tell for sure. I personally would definitely clean her up and give he a test shave!
You have to be trusted by the people that lie to you. So that when they turn their backs on you, You'll get the chance to put the knife in….
