A very generous member sent me this Torrey wedge razor and it has become one of my favorites!!! This unassuming little beauty does its job very well!

Looks more like a half or quarter hollow. ;)

I LOVE the was the heavier grinds shave. IF you ever get an old Sheffield wedge and get 'er honed right, you'll be amazed at how sweet those heavy things mow down the fuzz.

FYI, most old "wedges" are rarely true wedges. They're usually a semi or near wedge. True wedges would be bastards to hone unless you did it on a "bellied out" stone or built up the spine with something to get the stone off the sides of the razor. The only true wedge I own is actually a microtome and it has deal that slips over the spine to set and maintain the bevel.
