1870's ? cache of straight razors

Post by MJC »

Circa 1870's batch of new straight razors found but some with what looks like Arabic engravings on the blade. They are by John & William Ragg of Sheffield.

Hand ground even those with the same product name have little differences in the shape.

i have a large collection of straights. many dating back to pre 1891 with 1 in particular being a Wade & Butcher from 1854.
neat collection you have here. I can say I do not have a Ragg , yet, i will be looking though.
Thanks
Brian
