Need Help Identifying Old Beater

Hi All,

I need help identifying this old piece that was handed down to me in a knife collection. Mostly interested out of sheer curiosity because I've never owned a straight razor and it at least seems old.

As you can see, the only legible mark is a "Key" picture. There are the faintest signs of letter on the blade, but they can't be seen enough to decipher.

....that one is old!!!...I'm still trying to get some info on an old (1888-1892) monarch razor!!............. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ....................
