hones and sharpening stones locale wanted for nameless hones

Post by mdpmedia1 »

Is this the correct forum for the stone hounds to sniff up some knowledge on unknown hones? I have a hone or three that no one can identify: not even a couple of pros doing this for 20+ years.

I'll post photos once I get some advice on where to post a hone since I did not see the word 'hone' thrown around with 'razor' etc.

mdpmedia1, I am looking forward to your posts on stones,
There are threads and subforums on the forum that discuss stones and sharpening. Many of them.
I can't stay to search. I'll peek in later this afternoon and hope you have found something. ::tu::
