CF Wolfertz

Post by Whitneyrifle »

So, just picked up a CF Wolfertz. I posted in another razor forum. The stamp mark is from the 1862-1973 era, but Inwas told this is probably a Soligen blade from about 1920. I am a bit confused, can anybody clarify what is going on?

if it's early 20th century from Solingen, one would think it would be marked so. Wolfertz made nice knives from 1862 -1920 , they probably made razors. ?? My guess. J.O'.

That was my gut feeling too, it should be marked with something German, since after 1891(?) they had to have country of origin.
