Camillus 511 folding knife need help with info

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus 511 folding knife need help with info

My friend who knows absolely nothing about knives randomly bought this Camillus from fleastore for 3 euros. Anyone know more about this? Years it was made, is it worth than 3 euros?I will buy it because I collect Camillus. All info is appreciated !

The knife looks to be in excellent condition. I think it is worth at least $30 which is a lot more than 3 Euros.

I don't know much about Camillus knives; I think they made those barlows for decades. I did a snip out of a 1951 catalog.

There is no 'connection' between Camillus and Canal Street Cutlery. This thread should be in the Camillus forum.
