Listing Canal Street Cutlery Collection for Sale

Former Schrade President Walley Gardner and principal Joe Hufnagel joined with nine master cutlers to form a group of US craftsmen with over 300 years of combined knife making experience to create Canal Street Cutlery. It was first located in upstate New York where a long and rich tradition of quality knife making dates back to the 19th century. Unfortunately, the company closed its doors in 2015, but not before making some great knives. The brand was resurrected in 2018 as Canal Street Cutlery Co-Op & focused on making very small batches of high quality traditional knives. As a Co-Op, it was owned by the knife makers who worked there. Unfortunately, the business model couldn't hold up & the entity again ceased production.

Listing Canal Street Cutlery Collection for Sale

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

Hey all, I always try to give my friends here on AAPK first shot at any new collection that I purchase before I move it to eBay. I especially think that’s important when my ability to acquire a collection has come directly from my association with AAPK. I think that is fair to Bryan to allow this site to make the sales commission first before letting Ebay make all the money
With that said, I started listing a few at a time of two collections from Canal Street and Moore Maker, they are scrolling now. Looks like the first two have already been purchased so you will have to keep an eye on them and act quickly. This is just a heads up for you serious CS and MM collectors. Good luck.
Here are a few pics taken so far.

Thanks Jeff, they are all listed now, what hasn’t been spoken for that is. I am moving the oldest over to eBay a few at a time. I have probably moved about 8 over so far. Best prices are still here on AAPK, send me offers.
