New Scout

Post by Quick Steel »

This is the best Bull Dog Scout I have excepting only the two other BD Scouts I have. :)

OAL 3 1/2". Rope Jigged Amber Bone. 5th generation, 2007. This knife is an example of why I have stubbornly maintained that superior knives can be found in every generation of BD knives. Easily. And I thank Mark (SharpNShinyKnives) for spotting this one.

That is a beautiful knife, no doubt very well crafted. I am a bit surprised by the choice of the old time can opener design, but I think it adds to the overall "charm" of the knife. ::tu::

Thanks for the observations Phil. I agree about the can opener. I have never liked them. I guess it represents that "Old World Charm." Which may explain why the 'Old World" has yet to get to the moon.
