Copperhead in Ivory

Post by doglegg »

Came across this one in the bay. And again thrilled to get it. Sorry for the poor light.

That is a real beauty doglegg. I really like the way that ivory looks on the copperhead pattern, perfect combo of covers and knife. ::tu::

Nice knife. Bulldog used some good quality ivory on these knives as this one shows. There are also a few with rather dull flat white ivory so don't snap up every ivory bulldog without having a good look first.

Very nice Copprrhead for sure. I have two Bulldog Trappers in Ivory. On one, there is a small hairline crack, more a hint of a crack, near the badge shield. On the other, there is a small hairline crack on the reverse side. If I had any talent, I could switch covers and make one perfect one. I bought them at different times from different sellers, but was able to buy both well. Alas, I have no talent.

Roland, I've been trying to give them a good look first. Thanks for the heads up. ::handshake::
Gary that sounds like a good plan. Show us if you make it happen. ::nod::

That looks like a Boker to me. I know Boker made knives for other brands. Is that the case here?

Thanks QS., I would have been proud for you to have gotten it. I bought from the Lady before. I don't know where she gets all the ivory. Tallguy I have no idea who made them.
