Bulldog tang stamp- research question

Post by Gone2Three »

Hello folks, so I'm just some digging into the brand and had a tang date stamp related question....maybe someone could help out.
I just purchased what was "possibly" 1st gen , it has a 1983 year stamped on it.
Now I came across this tang stamp, different knife that doesn't have a year and the line stamp is different. So what generation is this considered? Sorry it's just a little confusing

Made in 1993, 3rd generation just like the one you have dated 1993. The difference is this knife is stainless steel whereas the one dated 1993 is carbon steel.

Thank you Tom!
This one was also listed as a first generation by the seller. Sure glad that this forum exists, appreciate the info ::handshake::
