Cripple Creek Sunfish

Bob Cargill is the man behind the Cripple Creek Knife Brand. He started out making one of a kind custom knives and eventually started making special order runs by hand under the Cripple Creek name in 1981. He specialized in high quality hand made limited runs for clubs and organizations. The brand was later sold to Blackjack Knives of Effingham, IL who commissioned Queen Cutlery to produce them in larger quantities.

Been gone for a while. Maybe, dare I say, to busy for pocket knives here lately. Anyhow saw this post and wanted to post a picture of the pearl sunfish. Sorry bout the pour quality. When I get some time I’ll get you folks a better one

Soulmanticore what is the year on that pearl sunfish. I have seen that knife before and knew that it got sold. Glad to know it is in good hands.

1986 I think. It’s pretty well hidden by the bolster. I bought it 2 years ago at the carpenters hall in st Louis. He has some rare ones but he is more of a collector. Which means I gave a nice chunk of change to get this one. He has the 8 blade black pearl barrel knife, and it not going anywhere unless you have money to burn
