collector knife question

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

No problem HiPower I am just fortunate to have material on Kabars and try to help others with their questions as my handle says I am new to knives, but they are a great collectable knife with many variations of materials and style. Thanks for sharing photo's ::tu::

Nice knife Highpower--Those Ka-Bar collecters didn't last long did they? I had one that was a Big Dady Barlow with maple scales that was made beutifully made knife.
Really like the bear scene on those handles.
