With the old breed commemorative Ka-Bar

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

With the old breed commemorative Ka-Bar

Post by Dunc5 »

Just wondered if you guys would be interested in seeing my With the Old Breed commemorative Ka-Bar. It’s number 377 of 1945. The sheath is signed by two WW2 veterans who served with Eugene Sledge. I highly recommend the book if you are interested in the Pacific War. Ka-Bars are mention a few times in it.
