First I didnt want to tear into it...its real vintage! But it was in real bad shape...some "knife lover" used 60 grit sandpaper on blade and brass...wood handles where abused big time...
Came out decent...Montana elk stag, black fiber spacer, some file work and blade back to 90%.

I think your assessment of 90% A883 is low, what you did to that knife is closer to 99%! Nice save!
