Marbles Black stag bone series

Post by Beavertail »

I was going to just buy the sowbelly but went ahead and got them all.
Just finished framing them. The fit and finish on these knives are excellent.
Also found this Sunfish last week at the flea market.

Your display is great!

While I've never deliberately collected all of a manufacturer's knives with the same side covers looking at your display I realized I'd only need to add the Canoe and the Sowbelly to have the set. Actually we'd only have the set until they make another pattern with black bone stag. SMKW has been on a roll adding black bone stag Marbles folders. The locking single blade banana Trapper has only been available for a few weeks. I have a black bone stag Folding Hunter and a black bone stag Stockman that I have no doubt were made in the same factory that is making the Marbles. The Stockman is branded Colt. I forget if the Folding Hunter is a Colt or a Rough Rider. I wonder if there were other black bone stag Marbles folders made in the past. Any way I've only been a Canoeist in real life and there is no shortage of Sowbelly Stockmans in my house.

Thanks for pushing me over the edge on this one. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Plus it's a looker, don't you think?

If I had the talent, I’d delete the secondary pen blade.
