Rough Rider patterns

Whether we like them or loath them, Chinese manufactured knives have found their way into collections of all sorts across the entire globe. The intent of this forum is to offer a place where AAPK members can discuss the knives and not the politics.

Rough Rider patterns

Postby Edgewise » Thu Jan 11, 2018 9:11 pm

Is there a RR jack knife in between the peanut size under 3"

And the RR coal miner of 4", in the same pattern of a clip and smaller pen on the same bolster?

Something like the 33OT ?

Yes, that seems to be the only one. No equal ends and serpentines.

You could also use a medium stockman at 3.5", and you'll just have an extra blade on the other end...

RR380 Rough Rider Razor Jack @ 3¼" closed. I think that's a really nice size.

Of course you can't resell it - they only cost $10-$15 brand new. Why would anyone buy a used one?

Yes indeed, but they make a fine gift for the children in your neighborhood and you might be cultivating future knife collectors.

I have that Ram's Horn pen - and you are right, it is very nice, it is one of my favorite RR knives.

Little bugger bit me twice while coon fingering it after I first got it. She's resting quietly in a folder now.
