I hope you don't mind me posting my knife in this thread PigStikr, but I couldn't find any other Cold Steel threads and wanted to show you guys this knife! It's a C/S "Paradox" slip-joint that is 12" oal/SS spear-point blade with a swedge on top, SS handles with through holes, pocket-clip, and unusual opening/closing system. Has a comfortable weight of about 8 oz.'s, and came to me very sharp. It bears C/S markings, and was built in Taiwan. When you first look at this knife "balisong" comes to mind, but any similarity after that just isn't there. To open/close the knife you must grip the handles on both sides and pull them away from the blade thus exposing it and locking it in place(See pics!)and this must all be done manually as opposed to centrifugal force like on a true balisong. A fine addition to my unusual folders from around the world, and a pleasure to wait for since there was no Customs to deal with because I bought it here in Canada! 8)

This is another very large folder from Cold Steel. It's the 13 1/2" "Holdout" mid-lockback/4-mm S35VN blade with dual-studs, black textured G-10 covers with through holes, adjustable pivot, screw construction, and pocket-clip. Weighs a comfortable 7.4 oz.'s, and arrived sharpened to C/S standards. The knife displays C/S markings, and was built in Taiwan. It was designed as a 1-hand opener, but due to the length of the blade any normal human being could not accomplish 1-hand opening, whereas by starting the blade out with the stud and then a firm flick of the wrist will produce the desired result. Always ""Sold Out", I jumped on this one as soon as they made me aware it was back in stock. I love Cold Steel knives! 8)

I thought I was done with big folders, but since I was able to acquire these 3 right here in Canada with no Customs concerns due to them being A/O's, I had to grab em'! They are respectively, the 13 1/2" oal "Luzon", the 13 1/8" oal "Counter Point XL", and the 13" oal "Ti-Lite". These should be the last of them cuz all that's left that I'm aware of are the large and extra large "Espadas", and since I don't much care for those models the 4 monsters I now own should do it! 8)

Thanks John! ::handshake:: The one in the middle gave me a substantial cut the first time I closed it, so I'm kindda partial to the bottom one. It's the most "stiletto-like"! 8)

I recently received this Cold Steel Tai*Pan dagger and it completes the set of 3 I've collected! It's 13" oal/CPM 3V satin finished dagger blade, SS bolsters/guards/pommel, and black checkered Kray-Ex handles. I included pics of the other 2 models as well! 8)
