New RRR009 & RRR001BM Pictures

Post by Old Folder »

Insider information. ::paranoid::

Yes, I finally have it. (Now, so do you.) Hot off the press. "Read All About It." (No exact sell date yet, no price yet.)

Below is the picture of the new Third Series Rough Ryder Reserve Easy Open Sway Back Tan burlap Micarta RRR009
It's a traditional Sway Back pattern with an easy open pull.

RRR 009 1.jpg
RRR 009 2.jpg
RRR 009 3.jpg
RRR 009 4.jpg

The second RRR will be the: RRR001BM
Rough Ryder Reserve One Arm Razor D2. Brown burlap Micarta? Just like the original RRR001 Easy Open Razor but with a different handle material.

RRR001 BM.jpg
More news will follow when I receive it. (Getting information is as difficult as a Biden Press Conference.)

I Like Em. ::nod::

Maybe these will be better than the last offering especially the Rhino toe.
Regret buying the Rhino toe it's one of the most useless knives I've ever purchased.
I already have the 001 in blue micarta and both of the Swayback from their regular production.
I'm burned out of their micarta handles.

I would buy an RRR009 if it were not for the price. I will not pay $55.94. (converted from 52 Swiss Franks) Didn't find a price in U.S. Dollars.

I don't care who made em' Dan, I like both of them! That brown burlap Micarta reminds me of butterscotch! As for the prices, R/R has figured out that they're building desirable knives and they're starting to charge more for them. If you like them you should buy now, because the prices will only go up from here, never down. 8)

Jerry, those are European prices which are (usually) always higher than we can obtain them for here in the USA.
SMKW price for the RRR009 and the RRR001BM will be $39.00 each.

The RR009 and RRR001BM have joined the family.
RRR001 to RRR001BM are shown top left to bottom right.
The last two knives of series #3 should arrive soon.
Than it's on to series #4. ::groove::

Not at all Dan, I didn't expect you to do it immediately or anything, just when you had a chance. I'm a dedicated 1-blade guy and those 4 knives sure look good. I have a blue denim wharncliffe and a black swayback in Customs at the moment that I should receive soon, and after seeing your 007 I'm gonna have to get one of those too. Can hardly wait to see Series 4. Thanks for the extra effort posting the pics! ::handshake:: 8)

I bought 009 not very pleased with it I think the harder they try the worse their knives get--I like the micarta and the blade but you can't get it open without using the nail nick and that is cut to far back so why put the ez open cut out on them--opens hard off half stop To Hard I'm over half stops
