Nice little knife! However, you should be aware of this, which is part of the descriptive header for the Schrade sub-forum:

"This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name."

When browsing the bay I have see the China knifes listed as vintage USA all the time. I think they just copy someone else's listing.

It’s on the blade etch.

There is probably some exception that those much more knowledgeable than me can point out, but in regards to Schrade. If the tang stamp doesn't have U.S.A. on it, then most likely it's Chinese.

I just watched a video about the new Old Timer Heritage 50T. I had always thought of Old Timer as a cheap, knockabout brand that you used until it broke and then throw it away, but this 50T looks really nice. Other brands are looking to what Rough Ryder is doing and competing with them. There are an awful lot of very well made knives out there for very little money. It's a great time to collect knives.
