I got this little one today. I’ve found a 241 on here, but no 242. Any ideas on it? I paid five bucks, so I’m not panicking about age or value!

I have not seen the 241 or 242 before. I always liked these small Westerns. The only two I have are this 292 peanut at 2 3/4" and this 652 pen at 3 3/8". Wish I had more. Both of these are tang stamped Western USA which I believe are from 1961-1977. I think I paid around $5 each for these also.

Good little later model western. Western had the best steelmkf any of the old knife makers imo.

I think I have a couple of those around here steer away in the knife box. Those thin little blades come in handy.

I have a bunch of small Western's at home, because I'm trying to find blades to repair one or two of them with nice bone handles. So far I've been collecting the knives and the project is sitting in the back burner.

I will take some pictures of them when I get home from the hospital. Western made some very nice small pocket knives that were very useful and user-friendly.
Z-G you certainly didn't get hurt on that knife for $5! ::drool::
