This thread I wanted to show off the new rooster knives made by Daniels Family Knife Company in their very high quality Excelsior Knives Co brand. These are called Royal El Gallo rooster knives.
These first 5 were released in November 2020. Burnt Stag, Dyed Stag, Mammoth Ivory, Natural Stag, Mother of Pearl

Thanks for posting those. The flyers mention the maker which is something I don't see often on current Daniels Family knives.
I had never heard of Chuck Hawes but after a quick search it looks like he's a very respectable maker who is well known for his forged Damascus steel. Here's a picture of one of his customs that I found in my search.

You're killing me man! Since I gravitate towards the unique, I love these.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Yes, Chuck starting blacksmithing as a hobby, and soon was able to start forging his own Damascus billets. He apprenticed with knifemaker John M. Smith and eventually left his regular job to become a full time knifemaker, which he has been for over 25 years. Very nice guy, and great custom quality knife maker.

I discovered these a few months ago, somewhere? As an old cocker, something like this would look good with a set of my old gaffs in the knife display!
