Unfortunately, someone did a no-no on that top master blade. ::teary_eyes::

This knife was only produced for a short time before Camillus closed in February 2007. Approximately 700 knives were made.

Thanks Mark ,you got some dandies as well. These aren’t worth much but like the history behind them ,and a lot of the cheaper ones just aren’t around . And a lot of them have been worked on so you have to be careful or there goes a hundred bucks out the window! Again thanks ,take care and stay safe up there .

Thanks for the comp of my knives J.P.! ::handshake:: There are collectors that are willing to pay good bucks for some of the older, unattainable models you have, although I'm sure you have them for your own enjoyment. They definitely have some history behind them. I sure wish I'd have seen knives like these being sold in drugstores and magazines back in the day, but I think they've been prohibited here since before I was born, so I doubt they'd have even been available to us. Real Draconian knife laws up here, with no change in sight. It's a damn shame, ::facepalm:: cuz my collection would be much bigger without them, both manuals and autos! 8)

Just picked up this American switch. Very well made, the spring is in the blade pivot pin. Seems to be a decent weight and size, excellent materials.

John! Your Piranha IS a very well built knife. Can't remember if yours is a "Bodyguard" or a "Prowler" model, but both are of equal quality and operation. The spring around the pivot is referred to as a "coil-spring" operated auto. Very nice score, enjoy it! 8)
