Colonial M-724 paratrooper Switchblade

Post by XxTestedxX »

Curious on the fair value for these?

I posted one for sale on a page on Facebook for switchblades for $125 which was apparently to high and I was harassed about it ::td::

I have found these on 2 sites with them in stock and actually ability to purchase for $149.99

But since BladeHq once had them for 50-80 range once upon a time.. (out of stock)

I told them I’d love to buy a ton of knives that are out of stock for their original release price. In most cases Out of stock means gone for good.

I’m a Case xx collector for the most of part, switchblades are not my wheel house, any advice on these?

These were released in 2016

Thanks for info in advance

All I know that recently, they must not be selling too well. I'm on the Colonial email list, and I was getting 2-for-1 offers on these regularly. That $50-80 seems more correct to me.

Mine is a VA-legal "neutered" version, in which the auto blade is a shackle key, and the blade is a PE slipjoint sheepsfoot. I paid $15 for it on clearance, direct from CKC.

Looks like I will need to make some adjustments

The price on these has recently climbed pretty high.
I think $100 is about right.

Well, not reading the fine print I listed this on eBay and within 5 minutes I had 6 watchers 3 offers (this past weekend)

$60-90 and then $110 which I accepted

After the sale eBay later removed the sale 🙄my fault.

Pretty sure they still charged me a final value fee 🤦‍♂️
