Congrats Mickey!! ::ds::
You've bought yourself a cat. # 533 SS, 1 of 4 different styles of Colonial's Scrimshaw Series, made from late 80's to late 90's...
Ranger grade knives with Ivory Delrin handles, hot die stamped in house and acid etched blade in the assembly room. Barrel Nickel plated bolster's and .075, 1075 High Carbon steel blades and springs. Barrel brass plated liners also... ::nod:: ::nod::

The other three styles were a Barlow, and two lockback's; a 3", and a 4"...
Four styles in all....
We sold quite a few for some years..NICE FIND!! and somewhat rare!! ::groove::
Robert P. CKCo....

I picked up this knife/hatchet combo at a flea market last Sunday. It has not been carried or sharpened.
In spite of the stain on the leather it's in pretty good condition. I cleaned it up a little.
In a brief search I found several similar sets by different makers.

Thanks for looking.

Here's a nice Colonial Forest Master I got at a indoor flea market today. The punch is actually sharp. 3 3/4"
Shell handle and shell bolster.

Posted this on several threads but am still desperately searching for info on this knife.. Was it, in fact, made by Colonial? Either way, I feel that it belongs in this forum. Thanks in advance for any info and hope you enjoy!
