My usual EDC is a (part serrated) Chill, but today I thought I'd tote this little 1615 Onion/Centofante for a change. I'd forgotten how much I like this little guy...and I love the clip-on holster too.

Not in the pocket (yet, just ordered), but this a deal on a Speed Safe that supposedly is USA made. Even if it's not it's ok in my book.
*Edit- it does have the Flag.

I may have to get that one. While it's still Kershaw's standard steel, you've got a knife that looks the part of a ZT, but a fraction of the price. All the while, still USA made. Seems the Link, as of late, is clearanced priced everywhere.1967redrider wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 5:23 pm Not in the pocket (yet, just ordered), but this a deal on a Speed Safe that supposedly is USA made. I agree, for the price 420HC is just fine.

Took awhile to finally get to you; but, I assume you'll agree it was well worth the wait...am I right, John?
In solidarity, I'm carrying my 1660BRZBLK Leek today as well.

I think you'll be happy with that 1445 Half-Ton.

Yes Jerry. I am very happy

Re: Kershaw in the pocket?????
Kershaw 2410. I have not carried it in years. I thought I would give it some pocket time for the New Year.

Re: Kershaw in the pocket?????
The Scallion does the job for me. At just about 3 1/2" closed, it's in the right size range. I keep thinking about getting an auto, but the Speed Safe assist fires just as quick, and even when I've forgotten to slide the tip lock onto the blade, it's never opened in a pocket.
It was originally dated 2003, but I suspect it had been tipped and reprofiled at one point, as Kershaw told me that after they sharpened it, it would be too short to have the tip locked; so they swapped out blades. I presume it's still 420HC; not Sandvik 14C28N like the current Leeks. Technically, this is a 1620BLSO model exclusive to Snap On, but the warranty blade is now sterile, without even Kershaw having been marked on it.

Re: Kershaw in the pocket?????
I've owned several of this model, 1500ST Mini Task, over the years and have sold or given them all away. Recently found this one for a good price on eBay and decided to get myself another one...to keep! Soon as I got it in hand I remembered why I like this model so much: lightweight, linen Micarta covers, assisted opening and a nice size, part-serrated Wharncliffe blade. It'll get some pocket time as the newest member of my EDC rotation.
