Any Kershaw fans out there?

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

Thanks Jerry
The one plain edge price is a bit high, plus looks like a seller from Europe

A little research shows the OD-1 is USA made and the OD-2 is an import. The good part? They also made the OD-1 in ORANGE. ::clapping::

The easiest way for me is to send the picture on your phone as a picture message (text message) to your email address, then save it to your computer. Once it's on your computer it's a piece of cake to post it to AAPK. Holler back if you run into a snag.

I would have offered but people would have talked. Since Josh is from California, no one will think anything about it. No accusations here Josh. Just saying............

Once you've had a few days with it, please let us know what your thoughts are on it. If I remember correctly, that's your first Kershaw.

Here's a ZT 392. It's a Rick Hinderer design. He supplied the pivot, standoffs and screws. Check it out :)

::shrug:: need some help on these two, like what does the PG&E stand for and do they have any special value. The Indian Ford is new and I have the original grey and red box for. The little one with the sissors on it also has 3 red stones on the brass shield. Any info will be appreciated, thanks, Terry

The knives are longevity of employment awards. My guess is "Pacific Gas & Electric". Could be some other company but that's the most obvious to me. The one with three stones is probably 20 years? At least that's what three rubies was at NCR.

IT IS MY LOCAL GAS COMPANY I PAY MONTHLY HERE IN CENTRAL CALIF ::td::
ODDLY THEY DO NOT SUPPLY ELECTRICITY HERE....
SCE = SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON or locally known as just "EDISON" does electricity. ::shrug::

Dale (orvet) is more your go to guy for age and model of the Kershaws. Once you determine the model, an eBay search on sold knives of that model is your best bet for approximate value. At least, that's the way I'd do it. Good luck.
