Since it is little large and heavy for convenient pocket carry, I really never carried or used it .so it remained in mint condition . I stored it with my other stuff when I moved to a different state in 1995 and forgot about it. Long story short..my Father had found the knife in my stuff and took it to use for his own ...Pop used a knife for whatever needed doing, scraping, prying, screwdriver, burnisher, hammer and even cutting. His sharpening technique left much to be desired and usually resulted in lots of metal being ground before an edge was created. The knife was a bear-trap when new but the springs have weakened considerably now. the matching money clip is a mystery found in my father's random collection..don't know how he aquired it...don't know what year it is but it seems to be from the same era and series..
