Difficult to hold the knife and take the picture but, yes dogg, I believe it does angle back slightly.

Feels to me like a very comfortable, natural grip.

Had I anticipated being a hand model, I would have cleaned up my act. Are dirty fingernails a sign of something else?

Been awhile since anyone added to this thread...so...here's one that I haven't seen posted before...It's an original Kershaw Speedform (as opposed to the Speedform II) with Elmax steel. It was once named Blade Magazine's "Knife of the Year" (I forget which year). A little big for pocket carry, but great for the collection.

I believe it was, however I don't know the total production run number. As you can see, mine is serial number 059.

It's a cool looking knife, but, like I said, too big for comfortable pocket carry. Although this knife is surprisingly lightweight for it's size, it's definitely a handful (blade: 3.75"; OAL: 8.5").

Wow...closing in on two years since the last Kershaw knife post.

I recently picked up this 1500ST, which is a model I had never seen before. Is it rare or am I just not looking in the right places? Love the big, part serrated wharncliffe blade, pocket clip, liner lock and lightweight linen Micarta. Seems as though my Chill and Leek have a new companion to share the EDC duties. Closed Length = 3 5/8"

I must have missed those you posted back in January. I also neglected to post this 7000 BB I picked up on AAPK back at the end of August. She's a slick motor scooter.

Knice Kershaw Y'all.

I'm pretty well hooked on the SpeedSafe. I have 5 in the edc pile.
I suppose that would warrant a group picture . . . . someday.

Here are a couple of interesting recent Kershaw acquisitions: Macho (big) & Honcho (small) in water buffalo bone. At first I thought it was ivory, but it's not. Nevertheless, it sure has a nice "ivory-like" feel to it and it polishes up real nice.

A very fine looking pair. Not sure if its due to the bolsters or perhaps the ivory like bone, but I would describe them as having a very sophisticated look to them.

~Q~,
I love the Speedform and the 1500, pretty slick!
I just got in a new (to me) Ti ATS-34 that had seen plenty of abuse. I cleaned up the blade and put an edge on it....
It is scary sharp!! What a beast of a knife.
I will post pics later.
Also picked up a new Needs Work and a
New Scallion, both butter smooth. I also got a black Leek for my store, but it is too sweet, it is in my pocket!

I did get some EDC silver Leeks that should make the store unless I sell them all this weekend at the knife show.

I will get some pics up in here, awesome thread!!!

Nice variety of Kershaws, Dale. IMO, Kershaw makes some very fine, high quality knives. Here are a few more of mine. I'm thinking that one of the rosewood Wild Turkeys would look very nice with a stag handle...either something light like the new Case Vintage stag, or something darker like Queen's Amber Cut Stag Bone...or perhaps something gnarly and colorful like you put on that customized WT with the Marine Corps emblem shield that you modified for Phillip (treefarmer).

I don't know the correct model number for the 3-blade slip joint but I purchased it in late 1976. Since it is little large and heavy for convenient pocket carry, I really never carried or used it .so it remained in mint condition . I stored it with my other stuff when I moved to a different state in 1995 and forgot about it. Long story short..my Father had found the knife in my stuff and took it to use for his own ...Pop used a knife for whatever needed doing, scraping, prying, screwdriver, burnisher, hammer and even cutting. His sharpening technique left much to be desired and usually resulted in lots of metal being ground before an edge was created. The knife was a bear-trap when new but the springs have weakened considerably now. the matching money clip is a mystery found in my father's random collection..don't know how he aquired it...don't know what year it is but it seems to be from the same era and series..
