Kershaw Leek

Kershaw began its foray into the knife business sometime during 1974. The company was originally based in Portland Oregon, but most early knives were manufactured in Japan. The first US manufacturing plant was opened in 1997 & the company currently offers knives made in the U.S., Japan, & China. Pete Kershaw (an ex Gerber salesman) started the business.

May I suggest a red felt background. I think that would show off the gray handles better. JMHO
I hope you don't mind. I fiddled with your picture a little.

I have two that are very different but I really like both of them... a rainbow titanium-nitrided version and a stonewashed version with the D2 cutting edge jigsawed into the stainless blade:

I don't know if the red background makes much difference. ::undecided:: It probably has more to do with my poor photography skills...that, and the fact that I'm so accustomed to seeing the metallic silver handle that it has become my automatic default (especially with a color like gray which is pretty close to silver). It was worth a try, but I guess you'll just have to take my word for it: the handle actually is Gray, not Silver.

Perhaps I can be of service...Here's the one I just bought (seller's pics). I'm a BIG fan of the black blade and hardware.

John, I'm not sure what you were expecting...but if it was shipped on Dec 20 and today is Dec 23...well, um...that doesn't exactly sound like it's in "limbo". ::skeptic:: Just how spoiled have you "mainlanders" become? Lately, I'm happy if I get a USPS Priority Express 2nd Day Air pkg within four days; a normal Priority Flat Rate Small Box, which used to arrive in 4 days, now takes a week to ten days, and First Class is lucky to arrive within a month. It's the Curse of the dreaded Christmas Postal Monkey 🙈!! Hopefully it's just seasonal and will get back to normal once the Holidays end (and I start buying knives again ::pray:: ).

Patience, Grasshopper...it will arrive when it arrives (and not a day sooner)

All hope is not lost... I've had two of those "Pre-shipment info received; awaiting package" deals delivered to me this week with no additional tracking information ever shown.

As ~Q~ said. Patience. The package that had my grandson-in-law's Christmas present in it was finally delivered yesterday. It took 18 days to go 120 miles straight south. Only God knows why it first went to Des Moines, IA and then St Louis, MO but it did and finally arrived at it's destination. Hope springs eternal.
