Pocket EZE 822415

The first Robeson knives were imported by Millard Robeson from England and Germany exclusively. This continued from 1979 until 1896 when Robeson began manufacturing knives in the United States. Since inception, the company has gone through several reorganizations & eventually ended up as a Queen Cutlery brand.

Pocket EZE 822415

Post by GardenGram »

Just found this upstairs in a box. May have been my FILs. Haven't found too much info. Maybe someone here can help. Age? Type handle? Anything really. Thanks. Think I'm going to clean it up and use it. Sorry for the cappy pics.

Found out its a celluloid handle. Made from 1917-36. Haven't been able to find one like it on web. Neat old knife.

It's a pattern that shows up with some regularity on Ebay, although almost all are bone handled.

I have always called that celluloid pattern, "Onyx" and it comes in a few colors, green, bronze, a lighter green, multi-colored, etc.

How is the master blade stamped?

Here's one on Ebay in black composition:
