Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
My latest Benchmade, a Proper sheepfoot. I bought it at the factory store in Oregon City the Saturday before Christmas. My wife handed me her card and said, "Go get your Christmas present."
I have an AWESOME wife!!
The factory store is quite a place. It suprised me that most of the people shopping in the factory store were much younger than the crowd at the average knife show. I would estimate that half the customers in their 30s or younger. Benchmade seems to have captured the imagination of the younger folks! I think that is a good thing!

Though I really focus on old knives my brother sent me this Benchmade Osborne a few years ago - I really find it to be a great EDC when a big knife is needed and I can't get enough of flicking the blade open ... Seriously the blade fires out of the hole and locks up solid each time

Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
Does anyone happen to have one of these 535-1901s? I just found one, it hasn't been delivered yet. Thanks for your thoughts!
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: SHARE YOUR BENCHMADES
Had to do a day trip to Cumberland on Saturday and decided to carry this knife. I'll tell you this is the sharpest factory edge I have in my collection. This knife would slice unpeeled mandarins paper thin.
I assume this is crucible steel and it is amazing. The weight of this knife makes one forget he/she's carrying a knife. I'm sure the standard versions are the same except in looks. The Jade G10 scales have gotten a grip on me, seeking out other knives with them.

Looks like a nice carry! I'd have to agree that, on average, my BM knives have come with the best edges!
