I'd be interested in the Salt 1 from the perspective of checking the way H1 reacts to my needs but ultimately I'd have to get a Pacific salt mainly because of size. I don't see many little fish in my travels so the 3 3/4" blade is a must. I know you can get more for the Salt 1 than I'd be looking to spend.junebug wrote:this may help some on FAKES:

WAZ- my understanding.....from reading.........the serrated H1 knives hold a edge longer than plain edge............
I have had both...but never used either one long enough or hard enough to tell any difference.....their is a guy on a spyderco forum who swears by serrated H1 to fillet .......i still have a yeller SALT 1 fully serrated & Ti clip, used,if any interest?
Thanks for the offer,
Mike
