Just wondering
Just wondering, when you go to a profile page, there are choices of "Add friend" and " Add foe". What are these and how are they used?

To add a friend or a foe, someone you don't get along with.

Re: Just wondering
But what does it do? For instance if I brought up your profile and clicked add foe? Would I not see your posts then? Or I couldn't reply to your posts?

Re: Just wondering
There is actually a forum for that too! https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1311925
AAPK is a customized version of software called phpbb, so Bryan may have done something else with the functionality of friend/foe, but the link tells what the “native” unaltered version of the software does.
My understanding based on the phpbb forum post is if you designate someone as a friend, when you’re online on the forum it shows you when your designated friends are also online. And it hides posts of your “enemies”.

Re: Just wondering
If you add someone as a foe you will see that they made a post, but not the content of the post. You will have the option to see the post. I have never added a friend, so I do not know what happens then.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 6:46 pm But what does it do? For instance if I brought up your profile and clicked add foe? Re: Just wondering
I had no idea either although it seems like I saw it before on other forums which I can't seem to remember at the senior moment.
Re: Just wondering
For me the biggie is when you go to compose a PM, the friends you added are displayed and accessible with a single click rather than typing or looking up their name from the member list.
I don’t know about foes, I don’t have any

Re: Just wondering
As mentioned above it hides the person's content of their post. You can click on "Display Post" and then you will be able to read what was written.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 6:46 pm But what does it do? You will see that they made a post, and you can reply to the thread even without reading their post.

Dimitri, what the devil is that "thing" pictured in your avatar? Is that some kind of knife with about a zillion blades?
